Katie began working with makeup by pure chance when she could not find a makeup artist that she liked for her wedding. A crash course in bridal makeup gave her the skills she needed to do her own wedding makeup, and the results were so lovely that friends and family began to come to her for their own makeup needs. Within months, a thriving business was born out of the desire to bring a fresh perspective to beauty for all women. She believes that Austin is home to some of the most beautiful women in the world, and strives to help every woman recognize her own personal beauty.
Katie has trained extensively with Robert Jones, MAC cosmetics, Merle Norman, and a host of other makeup gurus. Her work has been featured in The Knot regional magazine, Rare Magazine, NSide Magazine, and Style Me Pretty. She provides makeup artistry for several local boutiques, and won a Golden Boot at the Austin Fashion Awards in 2010.
A native Austinite, Katie resides in Cedar Park with her husband Keith, their precocious daughter Annabelle, and their two maddeningly rambunctious canines.
